We are a small, brand new congregation meeting in Strasburg, but serving all the the surrounding area (e.g. Bennett, Byers, and Deer Trail…but we don’t limit our radius!)
Serving Christ and His children in the high plains east of Denver…
When we had our first meeting to form, the word that stood out and was first on our lips was…
Family
As part of the Family of God we are committed to providing a church family for all who attend. As Jesus says:
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:35, English Standard Version).
Who is your minister?
Our minister is Alan Fahrner. Alan has a degree in religion from Liberty University and was formerly the minister for the Antrim Church of Christ.
Alan is blessed by the Lord with a full-time job in IT and volunteers for the Strasburg Church of Christ. He has a wonderful wife (his words :-)), four great children (one who lives at home), four dogs, and two cats. No gerbils. 🙂
You can visit Alan’s personal religious site, Traditores. (However, please note that that site represents his views and musings, not the Strasburg Church of Christ’s. Ditto with his Alan.Zone aggregation site.)
You can reach Alan by e-mailing him at minister@strasburgcoc.org, calling him at (720) 526-2262, or using the on-line form on our Contact Us page.
Who are the Churches of Christ?
The Churches of Christ is not a denomination; we are a loose association of autonomous churches with similar beliefs. We turn to the Bible and the New Testament church to inform our liturgy and our doctrines. If you are looking for a Christ-centered traditional church that trusts Scripture, not man, to reveal God’s teachings…then you should check us out.
Want more information about who the Churches of Christ are and our beliefs? As mentioned, there is no denomination, so there is no central authority to define a set of “approved” doctrines. However, as long as you take them with a grain of salt, here are Internet Ministries’ description and the Wikipedia page for Churches of Christ.
